Thakur jugal Kishore Sinha (Hindi: ठाकुर युगल किशोर सिंह) (1908–1983) was an Indian politician. He was elected to the 1st Lok Sabha from Muzaffarpur North-West Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar in 1953 (presently, Sheohar constituency). He was part of the freedom movement and also known as the Father of cooperative movement in Bihar. Married Ram Dulari Sinha, who was also a major leader of freedom movement like him and later became Union Minister and the Governor of Kerala.[1] Thakur Jugal Kishore Sinha fought for India's independence under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and Indian National Congress. In his name an educational institution is being run by his son Dr. Madhurendra Kumar Singh at Sitamarhi,Sitamarhi District,Bihar. His followers included leaders like Chandrashekhar Singh of Congress Party, Karpoori Thakur, Raghunath Jha, Harikishore Singh, Harendranath Prasad.
